My name is Jennifer Matott and I live in Liverpool, New York (Outside of Syracuse, NY). I have 2 little boys, Mark and Christopher that keep me very busy. I've been teaching art for over 12 years to kids and adults alike. Because of my education and art training, I love to teach others about techniques as well as try new materials. I've been scrapping and creating mixed media for over 15 years. Mixed media allows me to get creative with materials and still create a 3D effect using a variety of supplies. Currently, I am a member of the Bad Girls Kit club design team and was the 2008 Top Designer winner. I also design for Nikki Sivils, Scrapbooker and Black River Designs as well as ScrapMojo and Candy Shoppe Designs challenge blogs. My pages lean towards the dramatic and I love experimenting with papers and pushing the limits of what can be done. Distressing, inking, paints, and textures are a constant in my work.
