I am a daughter of Christ, a wife of a wonderful man and a mother of two gorgeous babies that are eleven months apart. The Lord has gracefully blessed me with my own Local Scrapbooking Store which is lots of fun, where I teach and have a faithbooking ministry.
I am secretly obsessed with mini-albums and with the paper-piecing technique. When creating, I like to drink water (LOL) and eat chocolate! I must admit that my husband got me hooked on tea, but I still rather drink water.
When I craft, I am inspired by the fingerprints of God all around me. I am convinced that everything around me testifies of His Glory. I have made it my mission in life to capture the Lord in my projects, so that future generations may come to know Him.
I create for my children. I want to be able to capture the fact that they have been fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and that it is Him that guides their step. It is my hope that when my children see my work, their faith would be renewed.
If they made a movie about my life, it would be called "The Tale of a Stubborn Woman and her Savior". I am not sure who would be able to play "me" in the movie for I am, by far, the most stubborn person in the world. :) In light of that, my Redeemer is ever so sweet.
I began scrapbooking without realizing such a thing existed. I would create albums using magazine clippings and memorabillia since I can remember. I took every arts & crafts class under earth, and have always been very passionate about creating. It wasn't until I discovered the consulting route, 3-4 years ago, that I formally began to scrapbook. Since then I have been obsessed! :)
The scrappy tools I can't live without are: trimmer, scissors, ink, stickles, xyron, dot runner, patterned paper, and cardstock. (Since I create many paper piecing embellies, paper has become a tool for me).
One of my favorite non-scrappy things is the Bible; it is my source of life. I also absolutely love my family & friends! I love being out and about with them enjoying God's creation.
This is me: a girl trapped in a 28-year old body in love with her Savior and family; desperate to leave His legacy through crafting...

Jennifer Hansen
Indianola, IA
My name is Jennifer Hansen and I live in Indianola Iowa with my husband and two children (Parker 9 and Emma 7). The family also includes a dog, cat and turtle. I have two children who are very active in a variety of sports and activites so I spend a lot of time in my rockin' blue minivan. I originally only made layouts and then started dabbling in cards, mini albums and altered items and found that I love that just as much if not more! I will admit that my scraproom is always a mess and I really need to take the time one of these days to organize it. My daughter also likes to scrapbook and so that makes me proud! I have been published in magazines such as Paper Crafts, Cards, Paper Creations and Simply Handmade among others. My blog is www.jenniferhansenscrapgallery.blogspot.com. I am excited to be joining the team!
1. When creating, I like to drink Dr. Pepper and eat Twizzlers or any other candy that doesn't get my hands messy.
2. When I craft, I am inspired by scrapbook blogs and magazines. I spend way too much time surfing the net.
3. I create for Scrap Within Reach, That Scrappy Girl, The Scrappy Shack, Creatively Green, Midnight Oil Scrapbook Designs. I am excited to be joining Genuinely Jane Studios!
I love that scrapbooking/paper crafting lets me use my creative side, I've made lots of new friends and you can't beat the rush when you go shopping and get some pretty new supplies.
. If they made a move about my life, it would be called There is always tomorrow and I think Reese Witherspoon should play the lead role as me.
5. I began scrapbooking 5 years ago and got started this way - I mentioned to my husband I wanted to try scrapbooking. He bought me a 12x12 pack of paper and an album for my birthday and the rest is history! I'm thinking he is regretting this now since I am obsessed!
6. The scrappy tools I can't live without are border punches, paper piercer (for brads) and my yellow Cutterbees with the black blades (adhesive won't stick to them...love that!)
7. Some of my favorite non-scrappy things are reality TV, reading and long naps. And of course my children!

Chrystal Riddell
Dallas, Texas
1. When creating, I like to drink Diet Coke. I don't eat anything because it's too messy. You'd laugh at this if you saw my desk!
2. When I craft, I am inspired by my photos and their stories. Sounds corny, but it's true.
3. I create for my sanity! Oh, and my kids so they'll know where they came from and who we are.
4. If they made a movie about my life, it would be called It's a Wonderful Life, and I think Kate Beckinsale should play the lead role as me.
5. I began scrapbooking 8 years ago and got started with Creative Memories. Did anyone NOT get started this way?
6. The scrappy tools I can't live without are my Fiskars trimmers, Making Memories tweezers & scissors, and ZipDry glue
7. Some of my favorite non-scrappy things are Diet Coke, Mexican food, my sweet, sweet babies, and loving husband.
Anything else?
I think my official job title would have to be President (ok, honey, maybe Co-President) and CFO of the Riddell family. I have two precious babies, Jack, 5, and Carolina, 18 months. My husband and kids are my favorite subjects. We live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area, and I am a Texan tried and true. I love Skittles, but I pick out all the red and purple ones to eat first. I wake up with a Diet Coke in my hand. I am a planner. I am driven by a deadline. I love being a Southern girl. I rarely leave the house without my Rebel. I believe there can never be too much bling in a girl's life.
